02/27 ~ Around 19:30 Denver Firefighters were called to the area of 54th & Franklin for a reported warehouse fire.  While enroute Tower 9 reported smoke in the air.  Upon arrival at Waste Management, 9's a pair found an exterior pile fire which had extended a few feet into the building where sprinklers had began flowing.  Compaines conducted extensive overhaul work and prevented any significant extension into the building.  Mike Melton Photos
