01/31 ~ Around 1800 Westminster Firefighters responded to a reported vehicle fire inside a garage near 73rd & Knox Court.  While enroute units reported smoke and flames visible from a distance, Battalion 1 arrived to find a fully invoved attached garage.  Multiple companies arrived, advanced several attack lines and attempted to establish a water supply.  Firefighters found their first hydrant to be out of service, creating a delay in supply until a second, working hydrant could be found.  Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire and prevented any extension to the neighboring homes.  All searches proved negative and no injuries were reported.  Photos Courtesy of Albert Munsee
