06/30 ~ Around 14:45 Englewood Firefighters were alerted to the 3000 block of South Acoma Street for a reported structure fire. First arriving Chief 20 found a one story brick duplex with heavy fire conditions on the charlie side. Automatic aid from Sheridan and Denver was immediately requested as crews from 21, 22 & 23 all went to work. With fire extension in both units and high temperatures outside, an additional two engines from Littleton and South Metro and two private ambulancs were ordered.
