06/30 ~ Around 14:45 Englewood Firefighters were alerted to the 3000 block of South Acoma Street for a reported structure fire.  First arriving Chief 20 found a one story brick duplex with heavy fire conditions on the charlie side.  Automatic aid from Sheridan and Denver was immediately requested as crews from 21, 22 & 23 all went to work.  With fire extension in both units and high temperatures outside, an additional two engines from Littleton and South Metro and two private ambulancs were ordered.  The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes and required extensive overhaul.  Photos Courtesy of Tom Aurnhammer of www.buffaloheadfire.com
