01/11 ~ Just before 11 am Denver Fire received multiple reports of a structure fire near Yale & Cherokee.  First due companies reported smoke in the air while enroute, then arrived at 2651 South Cherokee to find a detatched two car garage fully involved with exposures.  Ammunition stored inside began to fire, one round gently struck a firefighter during the fire attack.  Companies made fast work of the scene and knocked the fire before any extension occurred.  No injuries were reported and investigators were called to the scene.  Photos courtesy of Jen Falkenburg
