01/24 ~ At 0330 Littleton Firefighters were alerted to a report of smoke inside a home in the 6600 block of South Downing Street.  First arriving Battalion 1 reported a two story single family dwelling with moderate smoke showing and declared a working fire.  Crews from 12, 14 & 15 advanced a line inside, secured a water supply and began a primary search to locate the fire.  An isolated fire was discovered between the fireplace and exterior wall of the home.  Companies spent nearly 45 minutes opening up and overhauling the fire which had likely been smoldering for an extended period of time.  No injuries were reported and only minor extension inside the home occurred.  To view the full gallery of photos by Eric Hurst Click Here.
