02/09 ~ In the early evening Denver Firefighters were called to the 3600 block of Locust Street for a reported structure fire.  First due companies found a two story dwelling with heavy smoke conditions.  Crews laid in, advanced a line and conducted searches.  A basement fire was quickly located, knocked and held to the room of origin.  All searches proved negative, no injuries were reported and investigators were called to the scene.   Rod Blakney Photos
