01/01 ~ Around 1500 hours Brighton Fire was alerted to a structure fire at the intersection of Northern and Sunset.  Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the eves of 1157 Northern Street.  Mutual Aid from Thornton was added.   At the same time another possible structure fire was toned out in Brighton at 14255 Harvest Road, this incident was luckily not a working fire.  Firefighters at Northern Street  advanced several lines and opened up the attic, quickly knocking the fire.  No injuries were reported, Photos by Mike Melton
