04/28 ~ Around 1300 South Metro and Franktown Firefighters were alerted to an Unconfirmed Residential Structure Fire in the 7200 block of Meadow View.  E184 rolled out and reported a column in the air, then requested the Confirmed Fire dispatch.  First arriving E46 found a two story single family dwelling with heavy fire conditions from the roof, several exposures and requested an immediate 2nd Alarm.  Companies advanced several large hand lines and began defensive operations.  The fire was brought under control within 15 minutes.  The homeowners were able to safely escape the home and no damage to neighboring homes occurred.  Several units remained on scene through the afternoon overhauling and assisting investigators.  Eric Hurst Photos
