06/05 ~ Around 1500 Denver Firefighters were alerted to their second job of the day.  After an address change, companies responded to 980 South Adams for a reported Structure Fire.  First due Engine 19 arrived to find a large, two story single family dwelling with moderate smoke showing from the bravo side garage.  Rescue arrived and took the command, directing crews to advance two lines, make the primary search and establish a secondary water supply.  The fire was quickly located and contained to the garage.  All units were held for about 40 minutes overhauling, venting and picking up hose.  Eric Hurst Photos
